The Guild of Falmir was a magical guild of mages and sorcerrors from the Kingdom of Falmir. It was founded before the Great War, and aided Falmir's King Alexander Baraden in his battles during it. Surviving mages from the defeated kingdoms joined the guild and it grew in size quickly. After all of Corinth had been conquered by the kingdom of Falmir, King Alexander started seeing the powerful guild as a threat to his rule, and to avoid a possible betrayal from the guild, he accused all the mages of being demon-worshippers and begun a bloody witch hunt in his kingdom. Most of the mages were slaughtered, few remained in his kingdom as his loyal servants, others fled. Some of those who fled formed the secret rebellious group known as the Black Sun, with the purpose of one day avenging the fallen innocent mages.
